Dear JCS Community,

Welcome to another exciting year at the JC Solmonese School!  Whether you are new to the JCS community or have been around for a while, our hope is to ensure that each and every person enjoys a safe, enriching experience every day!  Having a friend or a trusted supporter, or even a whole support system is a critical part of life at JCS.  As we learn and grow together, it is comforting to know that there’s always someone at school who will stop and listen, and be there for you.

2023-2024 is the “Year of Celebrations.”  We hope to honor the traditions, both family and school, of the JCS community throughout the year.  From the usual holiday festivities to celebrations of our school values and Sea Turtle mascot, we are excited to promote a feeling of inclusivity and family as we learn about celebrations around the world this year.  Join us if you can!

Our goal is to ensure that the dedicated and caring staff at JCS will provide an enriching, challenging and positive experience for our children. Our programs align with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks and the developmental needs of our students. In addition to the core subjects, students also participate in Art, Wellness, Music, and Technology classes.  Special events are also an important part of JCS life, as children experience both traditional and unique activities throughout the year.  If you have any questions regarding the educational program, please feel free to reach out to a teacher or administrator.

We welcome parent/guardian and community partnerships as they strengthen the connections our students make with the larger world.  We have a very active SPO (Solmonese Parent Organization) that supports the school in many ways. The SPO holds meetings once a month and is always looking to welcome new parents/guardians. In addition, we have a very active and dedicated community of volunteers here at JCS.
