To assist with planning for all of our families, here are the last days of schools for each grade level/program:

If your family is moving this summer (or has already moved) and your child will no longer be attending JCS in the fall, please call the school office at 508-285-0120 or email Mrs. Varney at lvarney@norton.k12.ma.us. We want to make sure to update our records and enrollments for next year AND prepare any student files that need to be sent to another school or district.

Our 4th annual Adventure Games are scheduled for this Friday, June 6th!

Students should wear their House color (if possible). See the image for each classrooms’ house color. Students should bring a change of clothes or, at least, be prepared to get wet or a bit dirty. Students will carry their personal water bottle to the activities because it’s likely to be warm. Sunscreen should be applied at home as teachers and staff are not allowed to apply it for students.

We're looking for parent volunteers who have a little time on that day to help us create a fun, activity filled day for all JCS students. As you know, our terrific JCS SPO has arranged for a Palagi's Ice Cream Truck to come to JCS on Tuesday, June 10th to provide a cold, sweet treat to students and staff. The truck will be at JCS during each grade level's recess time to avoid any conflicts with other scheduled classes or activities. We understand how important it is to make sure that families have access to all of the nutritional information of the treats being offered, not just to make sure that there are safe options for students with food allergies and sensitivities, but also for students and staff with medical concerns.

We are removing three of the options from the paper flyer that was sent home, either because the option definitely contains peanuts OR there wasn't any nutritional information available. Chartwells is offering ice cream on Thursday, 6/5/25 and that will be the last “Ice Cream Thursday” of the school year. Chartwells will NOT be offering ice cream on Thursday, June 12th.

For 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders, Chartwells will be offering the following lunch and breakfast options on June 16th and 17th:
