School hours for students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade are 9:15am to 3:35pm.

School hours for students in the Little Lancers PreK program are:

If your PreK-3 child is registered to take the bus to and/or from school, you will receive a message from the district office with that information.

Teacher assignments were sent out to families of students in Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade, and 3rd Grade this past Friday afternoon. If you are a parent of a K-3 student and you DID NOT receive a message about your child’s teacher assignment, please email Mr. Barrette at pbarrette@norton.k12.ma.us and we will work with you to get that resolved. Teacher assignments for our PreK Little Lancers are being worked on this week and will be shared as soon as they are complete.

Each K-3 grade level has a supply list to share with families for the first day of school. PreK will share a supply list once teacher assignments are ready to be sent out to families.

We welcome everyone to come visit JCS before the school year begins at our annual Open House on Wednesday, August 27th. Here are the times for the various grade levels, including our Little Lancers:

4:30 – 5:00pm, Little Lancers AM & Full Day

5:00 – 5:30pm, Little Lancers PM

5:30 – 6:00pm, Kindergarten and 1st grade

6:00 – 6:30pm, 2nd and 3rd grade

Open House is an opportunity for students and families to visit our school and say "hi" to teachers and staff. Because the school year has not yet begun, Open House is not an appropriate time for parent conferences or curriculum discussions. We will be having a separate opportunity during the month of September for families to hear about this school year’s academic and curricular programs.

If your child will be attending Kindergarten, we are planning a “Meet and Greet” popsicle party at 4:45pm on the evening of Open House on Wednesday, August 27th. Look out for more information from our Kindergarten teachers!
