The Norton Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a Halloween Costume exchange this Tuesday & Wednesday, October 7th & 8th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm in the New Town Hall Lobby. There is no charge to take a “new-to-you” costume and families don’t need to donate a costume to take one. This program is a way to recycle costumes that are usually used just once and to let them be used and loved again by a new child. Please see the flyer below for more details.

We know that the Thursday ice cream service during lunches is popular for many of our students. Here is the schedule for October:

There WILL be ice cream service on 10/2, 10/16, and 10/30

There will NOT be ice cream service on 10/9, and 10/23

Just a reminder that there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, October 13th to allow the JCS community to celebrate Columbus Day.

The Solmonese Parent Organization (SPO) is planning to host a Scholastic Book Fair Tuesday, October 21st through Thursday, October 23rd. We will share additional information as the dates get closer.
