REMINDER: Passing School Buses

Hi JCS families,

We had an instance this morning when a parent in a vehicle passed a school bus when the bus had their lights on and the stop sign extended. Our primary concern always needs to be on the safety of every student. While we understand that driving behind a school bus takes additional time, it is never OK to pass a school bus while it's lights are flashing and its stop sign is extended. Doing so is against the law and can result in a ticket and/or fine.

We appreciate your cooperation in making sure that all JCS students are safe during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.
