Hi JCS families,

Believe it or not, this is the LAST full week of school during the month of November! After this coming week is the week of Thanksgiving which is a very short week with an Early Release Day on Wednesday, 11/26.

Click on the "Add to Google Calendar" button in the lower right corner to subscribe to the calendar using your own calendar app. Events from the JCS Public Events Calendar also appear on the JCS website and in the ParentSquare app.

Winter Coats Available for Families in Need

Through the generosity of a donation from the Knights of Columbus, we have a number of brand-new winter coats across a variety of sizes available for children. As a school community, we want to help ensure that all of our students have a warm coat for this winter. If your family could use a winter coat for your child, please reach out to Mr. Paul Barrette (pbarrette@norton.k12.ma.us) or Mrs. Kristi Fernandes (kfernandes@norton.k12.ma.us) and we will work with you to find a coat that fits your child. We will keep all communications confidential and we're happy to work with any JCS family. Big thanks to the Knights of Columbus!

Stack Up at JCS!

From Mrs. Nunes: Between November 18-20, JCS Students will be participating in an attempt to break a world record for the most people sport stacking at multiple locations. Sport stacking activities will be taking place during scheduled physical education classes.

Thursday Ice Cream Schedule

We know that the Thursday ice cream service during lunches is popular for many of our students. Here is the schedule for November and December:

There WILL be ice cream service on 11/20, 12/4, and 12/18

There will NOT be ice cream service on 12/11

Norton Holiday Toy Drive

The Norton Holiday Toy Drive is being held on November 22nd at the Yelle School from 9am-1pm and at Bog Iron from 2:30pm-9:30 pm. The group organizing the drive is looking for donations of new unwrapped toys and gift cards. See the linked flyer for more details.

SEPAC Holiday Shoppe

The Norton SEPAC is hosting the Lil’ Shopper’s Shoppe at L.G. Nourse School on Friday 12/5 from 4:30pm-8:00pm. Bring your children to shop for their friends and family in a festive environment where they will learn to spend, budget, and save! See the linked flyer for more details.
