Afternoon traffic tomorrow

Hi JCS families,

As may already know, we are hosting 3rd grade families for the Holiday Concert tomorrow afternoon at 2pm. This is an exciting and festive event for our school community, but it also means that there will be a LOT of cars and traffic at our school tomorrow afternoon, especially during PreK dismissal at 2:30pm. We are asking for everyone's patience and understanding ahead of time to keep everyone safe and to help PreK dismissal go as smoothly as possible. Here are some things we're asking everyone to be aware of:

• Please do not park in the traffic loop near Door 3 because that will block cars and buses during PreK dismissal. Mrs. Blackburn and I are planning to put out some cones as visual reminders in the areas we need to keep clear.
• Plan for additional time to get in and out of our school campus tomorrow afternoon, especially during PreK dismissal at 2:30pm.
• Do not pass buses or cars in the PreK pickup line under any circumstances! Our primary focus needs to be on the safety of all of our students, even if it requires extra time.
• Be patient and understanding with each other. We know that the holidays are a busy and stressful time for everyone. We want to make sure to be kind and treat everyone with respect, even if we need to be patient and things take longer than they typically do.
