To celebrate the New England Patriots being back in the playoffs and recognize the excitement of many of our students and staff, we are going to have a New England Patriots Spirit Day this Monday, 1/12! Whether the Patriots win or lose tonight, we're excited that they are back in the playoffs and we invite students and staff to wear their best Patriots gear (or even red, white, and blue) on Monday. As with all Spirit Days, this is completely voluntary, so families should not feel any pressure to go out and purchase something specific for the day.

This month is all about Perseverance. One way to think about Perseverance is “pushing yourself through challenges and obstacles.” We all experience challenges in our lives. We all have moments when we feel like we can’t do it or that we want to give up on a big task. It is important to develop

tools that help us work through those challenges in order to grow in those moments instead of giving up. How might you practice Perseverance as a family this month?

Perseverance is 1 of 3 traits we will focus on throughout the year that helps students Be Strong. Across grade levels, students will be developing skills like focusing, organizing, and goal-setting.

We know that the Thursday ice cream service during lunches is popular for many of our students. In partnership with our food service provider, Chartwells, here is the schedule for January:

There WILL be ice cream service on 1/15 and 1/29

There will NOT be ice cream service on 1/22
