Posted Date: 01/16/26 (04:16 PM)

Hi JCS families,

We are celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday this upcoming Monday and so there is no school on Monday, January 19th.

As we get ready to enjoy this long Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day weekend, we took some time during an school assembly this morning to learn about the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his role in the Civil Rights movement of our country. Below are links to some resources about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., if families are interested.
