Adventure Games tomorrow!

Hi JCS families,

The 5th annual JCS Adventure Games are scheduled for tomorrow, June 5th! We're looking forward to a really fun day for all students.

• Grades K and 2 will be participating from 9:30am to 10:45am

• Grades 1 and 3 will be participating from 1:30pm to 2:45pm

• Little Lancers (PreK) will participate in activities and during times that are the best fit for the ages of their students. Look for specific details from your child's teacher

Here's how students can be prepared to have a fun and safe day:

• K, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students should wear their House color (if possible). It makes it easier for teachers and staff to identify students when outside. See the image below for each classrooms’ house color.

• Students should bring a change of clothes or, at least, be prepared to get wet and/or a bit dirty.

• Students should wear shoes that are appropriate and safe for active, outside play. While shoes like sandals are great for warm weather, they are not so great at protecting young feet during active play.

• It's going to be HOT, so students will carry their personal water bottle to the activities. Families may want to add ice cubes to your child's water bottle tomorrow morning.

• Sunscreen should be applied at home as teachers and staff are not allowed to apply it for students. Students may also want to wear a hat to keep the sun off of their head.
