Hi JCS families,

One more week and one and a half days of school left this year (for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd graders)! Please have your child check the lost and found for any clothing or water bottles they may have lost. After the last day of school, we will be donating anything that is not claimed.

Students Should Leave Toys at Home

These past few weeks many students have been bringing toys and items like “NeeDoh” to school and these have been causing issues between students. As part of the Elementary Handbook, “We ask that students not bring extra money, expensive items/clothing, or ‘fad’ items to school with them.” JCS students should leave toys and similar types of items at home. If any student requires access to a fidget as part of their educational plan, our teachers and staff are able to provide those. Thank you for your cooperation.

Little Lancers Graduation, Monday June 15th at 10:00am

The Little Lancers Graduation Celebration will be held this Monday, June 15th at 10:00am. Families should plan on arriving at 9:45am. The teachers will take the preschool students to get ready and family members can find a seat in the cafeteria. After the ceremony, families will take their preschool student home with them.

Last Days of School for Each Grade Level

To assist with planning for all of our families, here are the last days of schools for each grade level/program at JCS:

The last day of school for the Little Lancers PreK students is Wednesday, June 17th and it’s a normal schedule (not an early release day). The Little Lancers graduation celebration is scheduled for Monday, June 15th at 10:00am.
The last day of school for Kindergarten is Thursday, June 18th. It will be a full day of school.
The last day of school for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades is Tuesday, June 23rd. It will be an Early Release Day.
The 3rd Grade Farewell Celebration will be held on Monday, June 22nd at 2:00pm

No School this Friday, June 19th

There is no school this Friday, June 19th to celebrate Juneteenth.

Please Let the School Know If Your Family is Moving

If your family is moving this summer (or has already moved) and your child will no longer be attending JCS in the fall, please call the school office at 508-285-0120 or email Mrs. Robichaud at crobichaud@norton.k12.ma.us. We want to make sure to update our records and enrollments for next year AND prepare any student files that need to be sent to another school or district.
