Helpful Supplies for Kindergarten:

Welcome to kindergarten! We are often asked by parents about what their student may need to bring when entering kindergarten. Below is a list of suggestions you can bring during our "Meet and Greet":

• An average/standard sized backpack to carry all their necessities to and from school.
• Clothing that is easy for the student to fasten.
• An extra set of seasonal clothing in a labeled bag (incase an accident happens)
• Large pre-filled and labeled water bottle that holds enough water to get your student through the day.

We provide many of the items that the students will need for daily activities. However, we do ask that each student come prepared with the following items that may be shared throughout the year: 

• A pack of black EXPO dry erase markers (thin tip)
• 12 Elmer’s glue sticks, as we use them often
• A pack (8-10 pack) of washable Crayola markers
• Three boxes of Crayola crayons (24 pack)
• Hard plastic pencil box size 8 3/8 x 5 5/8 x 2 1/8 (Example: Sterilite)
• Headphones in a labeled ziploc bag

Some other recommendations that we would love donated:

• Disinfectant wipes (Clorox or Lysol are best)
• Ziploc bags (gallon or sandwich size)
• Tissues
• 4 oz. Play Doh 
• Hand Sanitizer

PS - We may ask for more sanitizer and facial tissues during the flu season, as we tend to go through them quickly.

Helpful Supplies for First Graders:

• Daily healthy snack and a FILLED SPILL proof water bottle
• One 8X5 Pencil Box (bags do not hold enough)
• 1 package of Standard #2 pencils (with at least a few sharpened to start)
• A pair of headphones (labeled with your student's name)
• Scissors-labeled
• 2 glue sticks
• 4 packages of 16 or 24 packs of Crayola crayons-not the large boxes (1 per term needed) just send 1 to start
• 1 highlighter
• 1 vinyl pocket folder (blue, no prongs)
• 2-4 broad tip BLACK dry erase markers (Expo brand lasts the longest)
• Small white board eraser
• Spiral notebook

PLEASE NOTE: We ask that you only send in the above supplies and no “extras.” When your student’s supplies run low, we will alert you. We will not have room to store extra supplies in the classroom.
